- Once your transcript loads, look for the three download buttons above the text: Download TXT, Download PDF, and Download DOCX.
- Click the format you want. The file starts downloading immediately — no extra sign-in or confirmation screen.
- Find it in your browser’s default downloads folder (usually a “Downloads” folder, or check your browser’s download history with Ctrl+J / Cmd+Shift+J).
Which Format Should You Choose?
TXT (Plain Text)
The simplest option. A .txt file opens instantly in literally anything — Notepad, TextEdit, any code editor, any notes app — with zero formatting to worry about. It’s also the smallest file size, and the easiest format to paste into an AI tool or another program. If you’re not sure which to pick, TXT is the safe default.

What’s the File Named?
Downloaded files are automatically named after the video’s title, so you don’t end up with a folder full of files called “transcript.txt” with no way to tell them apart.
